Get Out The Vote Rally – We The People Rally

The Alcoa Blount County NAACP and St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church are co-sponsoring a Get Out the Vote Rally on Saturday, June 27 at 11 a.m. Participants in the rally will meet at 10:45 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church and march to the Blount County Courthouse, escorted by the Maryville Police Department. They will then rally on the steps of the courthouse, with local candidates invited to speak for 3 minutes each to share who they are, what office they are seeking, and their platform.

St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church is located at 104 W. Broadway, Maryville.

This rally is designed to encourage local residents to register to vote and to participate in our local, state, and national elections. This rally is for everyone but is particularly geared toward young adults.
